Much like a rose, from bud to bloom my floral career has opened from small beginnings to become a rose of distinction covering all things plant and flower orientated. My career started at the age of eleven working after school in a small village florist. This experience served to feed my desire to let my creativity develop. Ever since those early beginnings I felt I was destined for a career in this industry. And this was the case and with it came exposure to shrub areas and design studios for exterior situations to floral houses, from the finest bespoke arrangements to £40k weddings and parties for the rich and famous. I have constantly strived to expand my horizons through new experiences. During my many working roles in the industry I found myself showcasing my skills and abilities on television as an on-screen garden designer working for UK Style. This move tested my on the spot design capabilities and served to hone my strengths both physically and mentally to complete an assignment to a very tight schedule, yet still to the high standard I hold dearly. I have brought all of these virtues to Drake Algar and in turn to you, our customer.
