Calla Lilies are not actually related to the true lily or the lily family. Instead, they're members of the Araceae family, which includes Anthurium’s, caladiums and some philodendrons. They're natives of South Africa, where they grow so abundantly that they're viewed as common roadside plants and are called "pig lilies."
It’s a long lasting cone shaped, thick petaled flower available in yellows, reds, and pinks. It’s available all year round with a vase life of around 4 – 8 days.
The Calla lilies are ideal for the simple line in modern designs. It is very well suited for weddings, corsages, and boutonnieres and also corporate layouts.
